Educate yourself on move
Some families prefer to do their moving on their own. Upon approval the government will reimburse some military moving costs if you do it yourself. This way most of your military moving expenses will be covered. Military moving done on your own may be more convenient for some families. There are approved moving companies that can come on base and pack up your belongings for you when you have to move.
